JB Mason


JB started his career as a Management Consultant with Deloitte where he helped Fortune 500 companies solve their problems. He served over a dozen clients across a variety of industries and became skilled in financial modeling, data analysis, and contract negotiation. In search of a more entrepreneurial career path, JB left Deloitte to become an early employee at DoorDash on the Strategy & Operations team. JB was the leader of a four-person team that set the strategic vision for the Outside Sales organization. His responsibilities included tracking and reporting weekly KPI’s to company leadership, setting quarterly goals, and owning sales lead list assignment process.

In addition to becoming an accomplished operator at DoorDash, JB developed an admiration for local businesses which he believes are the backbone of a strong community. He decided to leverage his skillset to support small businesses in the greater Kansas City area. His responsibilities at O&O includes assisting owners in the sale of their company, developing relationships with potential buyers, and business valuations. To provide additional value to our clients, JB has a passion for learning and is pursuing his Certified Valuation Analyst designation.

JB majored in Accounting and Finance at Kansas State University. He remains involved with the university through mentoring students and guest lecturing at the College of Business. Outside of the office he enjoys playing tennis, poker, and traveling with his wife.
