Kansas City, MO-based Populous, a leading sport and entertainment architecture and design practice, has announced its merger with Jump Studios, an award-winning architecture and interior design practice based in London.
The strategic partnership will see Populous and Jump Studios continue to operate as separate practices, joining forces where new projects and existing clients will benefit from a broader spectrum of creative disciplines.
Populous has completed more than 2,000 projects and 90 global events, including 10 Olympic Games and spectacles such as the NFL Super Bowl. Venues designed by Populous around the world include Wembley, Yankee and the 2012 London Olympic stadiums, along with world-class entertainment venues like Philippine Arena, Darling Harbour Live and the Q2 Arena in London. A global team of 500 staff members provides services from offices in London, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourn, Hong Kong, Singapore, Auckland, Boston, Knoxville, Norman, Denver, San Francisco and Kansas City.
Jump Studios was established in 2001, and is recognized for its award-winning work in high-concept interiors, installations and architectural design. Encompassing retail, workspace, exhibition, brand experience, pop-up, restaurant and bar design, Jump Studios has established an impressive client list, including Google, Nike, Rapha, Levi Strauss, Mother, Red Bull, Publicis, Innocent Smoothies, Yahoo!, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Ministry of Sound, Bloomberg, Starwood Hotels and FIAT. Jump Studios was named Interior Architect of the Year by Building Designs in 2013.
