Newco Sells Business to Muncy

Muncy Industries has purchased the business of Newco Manufacturing, Inc.. Muncy Industries, of Muncy, PA,  provides wire rope fittings, lifting hardware And machines to its customers. The company was founded in 1949, and began as a machine and repair company.

Newco is based in Kansas City, MO. The company has been a prominent leader within the wire rope fittings industry since its start in 1952, selling their product throughout the U.S. to the construction, logging and marine industries.

Products include copper buttons, swivel hooks, combination clamp & thimbles, casing thimbles, slip-through thimbles, chokers & triangles, shackles and much more.

The seller was represented by O’Keeffe and O’Malley, a merger and acquisition specialist in Overland Park, KS. O'Keeffe & O'Malley also provides business valuations, exit strategy planning, business enhancement plans, and other services associated with mergers and acquisitions.
