Zendesk Acquires BIME Analytics

Zandesk has purchased all of the outstanding shares of We Are Cloud SAS, also known as BIME Analytics. Bime has offices in Kansas City, MO and in Montpellier, France. BIME Analytics allows organizations to easily connect and build queries across multiple live data sources and then analyze results through data visualizations, bringing simplicity to complex business data. The company was founded in 2009. It provides services for customers in 35 countries. The analytics product will be continue to be sold and supported as a separate product. Although the Kansas City office will close, all BIME employees have been offered positions with Zendesk.

Zendesk provides a customer service platform designed to bring organizations and their customers closer together. Zendesk has more than 60,000 paid customer accounts in 150 countries and territories, offering support in more than 40 languages. The company was founded in 2007. It is headquartered in San Francisco, and has operations in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.

The purchase price was $45 million.
