Westlake Hardware Acquires More Stores

Feb 05, 2020

Westlake Ace Hardware announced it will purchase North Bend Ace Hardware. The store is located in North Bend, Washington. It is anticipated the purchase will be completed on March 29, 2020.

According to Westlake, it will be a seamless transition of ownership and the stores will retain management, store personnel, and the current product mix.

According to Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware, “We look forward to continuing North Bend Ace Hardware’s outstanding tradition of customer service, and showing our new neighbors and customers how Westlake lives the Ace Helpful Promise every day by delivering reliable service, helpful advice, and products to help them get their projects done right.”

Gordon Gaub, owner of North Bend Ace Hardware, said “North Bend Ace Hardware has been an integral part of this community since we opened in 1998. It’s been our pleasure to serve our customers, many of whom we consider friends. Handing over the reins to Westlake Ace Hardware at this point in our history makes a lot of sense, as their excellent reputation, shared values, and focus on continuity will help this store continue to thrive well into the future.”

In 2018, Westlake acquired The Dennis Company, a five-store retail hardware chain in coastal southwest Washington. The Dennis Company has locations in Washington: Aberdeen, Elma, Long Beach, Montesano, and Raymond.
