WDAF-TV Sells Business to New Owner

Local station WDAF-TV was one of 19 stations in Local TV Holdings, LLC, which was acquired by Tribune Co. The combination of Tribune Co. and Local TV Holdings, LLC creates the largest combined independent broadcast group in the U.S. The newly formed group will reach 50 million households. Tribune is the second owner of WDAF-TV in the past five years.
