Overland Park’s Rail Logistics Sells Business

Rail Logistics LC has agreed to sell its business, including its “Cold Train” express intermodal service, to Federated Railway Inc. The new company will be named Federated Cold Train LLC. The current management team, staff and headquarters will remain intact. Cold Train currently delivers refrigerated cargo to 20 U.S. states and one province in Canada. Federated plans to add at least 1,000 containers to Cold Train's fleet over the next five years, bringing the total fleet to 1,400 containers. The selling price was not disclosed.
