Kansas City, MO-based Brownmed Inc. has acquired NuRoo. Brownmed is a family-owned business that manufactures and markets more than 100 medical devices for the global marketplace. The company has 10 employees.
NuRoo Inc is located in Rhode Island. It provides products that focus on “kangaroo care,” or skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby. Products include swaddlers, nursing scarf, and a shirt that allows hands-free babywearing.
