Belton, MO-based Safe Fleet has acquired Seon, which manufactures mobile surveillance camera systems that can record activity inside and outside buses. Safe Fleet, formed in October 2013, manufactures safety equipment, such as roof hatches, crossing arms, step treads and other bus safety equipment.
Seon is based in British Columbia, and produces integrated tracking, routing and video capabilities for vehicles. It is considered the leading global manufacturer of video surveillance for school buses and is ranked fourth for transit buses.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
