Lenexa’s SOR Acquires SETEX

Lenexa, KS-based SOR Inc. has acquired SETEX Products LLC, enabling SOR to strengthen its services to the gas, refining, chemical and power generation markets. SETEX will become a division of SOR.

SETEX manufactures thermowells, protection tubes and sample probes, which are products that provide temperature measurement solutions to customers. The company is headquartered in Beaumont, TX.

SOR designs and manufactures measurement and control devices for oil and gas production, power generation and the process industries. It also manufactures electronic and mechanical instrumentation for measuring pressure, level, and temperature and flow. The company has regional offices in Houston, Beijing, London and Dubai.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
