Ferrellgas Partners of Overland Park, KS announces the acquisition of propane retailer Federal Petroleum Company with locations in Weslasco and Brownsville, Texas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ferrellgas has acquired approximately 230 companies in its 70 year history.
