Dearborn Sells Business

The bulk materials division of Dearborn Mid-West Conveyor Co, based in Lenexa, KS, has been acquired by Bedeschi S.P.A. of Padua, Italy. Dearborn is a leading provider of turnkey bulk material handling systems for utility, mining, cement, fertilizer, refinery and marine terminal markets. The Bulk Group was founded in 1947, and designs, fabricates and installs complex bulk materials handling systems, including pipe conveyors and rotary plows. The company's new name will be Bedeschi Mid-West Conveyor LLC.

Bedeschi is an industrial group that specializes in bulk material handling and marine logistics. The company has been in business for 107 years.

Dearborn Mid-West also has an automotive division in Michigan that was not a part of this acquisition.
