Coventry Health Care Inc. Sells Business to Aetna Inc.

Coventry Health Care Inc. has sold its business, valued at $7.3 billion including debt, to Aetna Inc. The acquisition makes Aetna the third-largest carrier in Kansas City, behind Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and BCBS of Kansas City.
