Corporate Insurance Group and IMA Merge

Overland Park-based Corporate Insurance Group has merged with Wichita-based IMA, and IMA will be the successor company. Corporate Insurance Group is a privately held insurance agency with an emphasis on the production, servicing and marketing of mid-market and larger commercial property and casualty insurance, serving businesses in the Midwest. Clients are in the healthcare, long-term care, government and transportation industries.
IMA is a retail insurance broker, and is a subsidiary of The IMA Financial Group. It offers a full range of risk management related products from offices in Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Topeka and Wichita.
Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
