Bushnell Sells Business to ATK

Overland Park-based Bushnell Group Holdings Inc. has sold the business to Alliant Techsystems Inc. The selling price was $885 million. Bushnell sells high-end optics such as binoculars and scopes, and owns brands such as Bollé, Butler Creek, Gold Tip, Hoppe's, Primos, Serengeti and Uncle Mike's. The company has about 1,100 employees around the world, and about 10,000 customers in 90 countries.
