AxelaCare Acquires New York Company

Lenexa, KS-based AxelaCare Health Solutions has acquired the business of Advanced Care. Advanced Care is an intravenous therapy provider based in New York. It was founded in 1989.
AxelaCare was formed in 2008, and is a portfolio company of Harvest Partners. It provides pharmacy and home infusion services to include intravenous administration of antibiotics, hydration, antiemetic, nutrition, inotropes and other acute and chronic therapies. The acquisition increases the number of AxelaCare intravenous pharmacies to 18, and expands its national home IV therapy network into New York and New Jersey.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
