Alphapointe Merges with NY Organization

Alphapointe Association for the Blind, a non-profit company in Kansas City, has merged with New York City Industries for the Blind. The newly formed company will be called Alphapointe, and will continue to provide resources and jobs for legally blind persons. Both entities were the largest resources for visually impaired in their respective regions. Together, they plan to make a national impact, providing jobs in call centers, manufacturing assembly plants, as well as other operations.
