Leawood-based Mariner Holdings LLC has acquired the business of Allied Business Group, also located in Leawood. Allied Business Group is an investment banking firm that provides services such as business valuation, transition planning, and forensic accounting to clients. It was founded in 2002 to serve middle market companies.
Mariner Holdings is an independent financial services firm with more than $28 billion in total assets under management.
