Wish-Bone Sells Business to Pinnacle Foods

Unilever North American has sold its Wish-Bone salad dressing brand to Pinnacle Foods, affecting nearly 200 jobs at the Independence, Missouri plant. The Independence facility produces all the dressings under the Wish-Bone and Western brands, which account for about $190 million in annual sales. It is the 1-th-largest employer in Independence. The selling price was $580 million.
