Shawnee Company Eiko Global LLC Sells Business to Private Equity Firms

Shawnee-based Eiko Global LLC, the fourth-largest lighting company in the world, has sold its business to private equity firms Charter Oak Equity and Stephens Capital Partners. The selling price was not disclosed. The company sells more than 4,000 different lighting products out of offices in the United States, Canada, Germany, Korea and Taiwan. Its main warehouse and headquarters remains in Shawnee, joined by warehouses in Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada and Texas.
