Kansas Flour Mill Sells its Business

Cereal Food Processors, Inc. has agreed to sell its business to Tennessee-based Milner Mlling and Pendleton Flour Mills. This acquisition will create the third-largest flour milling company in the U.S. Cereal Food Processors Inc is based in Mission Woods, KS, in the greater Kansas City area. It operates three plants in Kansas, as well as in five other states. Cereal Food Processors will be combined with two other companies under a name yet to be determined. The acquisition is expected to be finalized this spring. The selling price was not disclosed.
