Garmin Acquires Marine Audio Company

Olathe-based Garmin has acquired Fusion Electronics Ltd and its subsidiaries, based in Auckland, New Zealand. The acquired company will become Garmin New Zealand Ltd., but will continue to operate as Fusion Entertainment.
Fusion is a privately-held provider of integrated marine audio equipment and accessories, which are designed for use in a marine environment. The company will continue to offer and service the entire product line.
Garmin is a global leader in satellite navigation, serving aviation, marine, outdoor, fitness, automotive, mobile and OEM applications.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
