MGP Ingredients announces its intent to acquire Lawrenceburg Distillers
MGP Ingredients of Atchinson, Kansas announces its intent to acquire Lawrenceburg Distillers Indiana (LDI) beverage alcohol distillery assets for approximately $15 million. The assests to be purchased include the distillery, bulk barrel storage facilities, blending operations and a tank farm. The purchase is expected to close around the first of 2012.
